yea I was told by Sarah Shand {registration and licensing officer} I have to pay before they even look at my exemption at the next board meeting, so she basically told me no pay she wont even submit to board, felt I was in between a rock and a hard place. They set goalposts and when you reach them they move them higher {with a cost of coarse. Thanks for all your advice and Wal I will take you up on that offer if things don't go my way

Finally plucked up the courage to sit my licence plumbing exam last Nov and passed with flying colours. Went to apply to become licenced and was told because I finished my apprenticeship in 1995 the board now no longer recognize it and I will have to apply for a exemption {which would cost me $300 }and then if that is approved to apply to become licenced {which costs $400} and that's  before the yearly fees. How can they decide that my apprenticeship is no longer worth anything. I cant believe it has come to this, the board is just a money hungry bunch of pricks who instead of looking after the plumbers just want to shaft them

Sorry to hear this happening to you.  I guess it all comes down to more money!   :-X
