Plumbers NZ is New Zealand's largest online plumbing, gas and drainage resource. Plumbing exam help, plumbing news, directory and free quotes.
PGDB Appointments (One step closer to a dictatorship), Yes Mr Williamson has done it again and has taken away industry representation on the Plumbers Gasfitters and Drainlayers Board.
PGDB Annual Report is a must read as is it fact or fiction?
Stats Chart doesn't lie it makes it easy to understand.
Memorandum Accounts Chart for discipline and prosecutions shows what a scam the Board are running to fund their other activities.
Licensing Chart. Is our industry shrinking?
PMSL - awesome work on the Maurice photo, thought I recognised him from the history books!!
What does the industry have to do to get people to take notice? I don't see how the way Williamson is running this shit show that the industry can be meeting the government target of 20% increase in productivity.
It's just looking more and more like a corrupt third world country where family and friends get into the positions of authority and screw the rest of the people over.
Does it have to get to the stage of violence in the streets, like in Egypt, before anyones takes notice. I'll tell you why people get away with walking all over us and it's that Kiwis are too laid back. We don't stick up for ourselves. Time for big change I say.
The only things missing from the Republic they are running/creating.....is the Banana's. ;D
Corrupt, incompetent dickheads. They are embarrassing.
Hi guys,
(I see you had a little write up in last week's issue about my cylinder strap)
...
About the cylinder strap issue, where does it say that the 25mm galv strap is the only form of restraint? I have seen roof tanks restrained by builders with timber as it was more practical than the metal stap, so why can`t the same be used for a hw cylinder? Are they saying that a strap has to be fitted whether it is doing any good or not, cheers
Hey Robbo mate, sorry to hear it was you....actually I am sorry to hear anyone was put through such bullshit.
It is the intention of the strap to prevent movement, if it can't move what's the point?
And you didn't complete the job either.....utter bollox.
Shit, all the suppliers better strap all their stock.....
Can't they see that the more ludicrous they are, the more credibility they loose.....it is embarrassing.
hi guys/Badger it was not me, that was a quote from `fellow Practitioner`so what is the answer? has the strap got to be fitted no matter what, cheers
Glad to hear mate, my bad. Poor bugger who did through. If you can tell me we'll both know.
