Just came back to me 'non competent' because of question J: Explain the purpose of a cast lid on an access chamber.
My answer: The purpose of a cast lid on an access chamber is to provide an access point into the chamber which can seal the access chamber closed and can be re-opened when necessary.
The marker noted to refer to page 276 in drainlaying essential skills book that covers lids but I have spent hours reading through that whole section ( installing chambers) and the 'access chambers' book to find anything remotely connected to 'cast' lids.
A 'cast' lid could possibly be referring to a pre-cast lid or a cast iron lid?
Anyone able to help out with this?
hi Corleone, I would simply have answered: `strength and durability` I am not saying that I know the reg but I think that you have stated what the purpose of the chamber is, dunno let us know when you find out, cheers
Yep i dont know either Robbo but that is what i would assume to be logical.
thanks for the replies, re-worded the same answer i gave and got a pass lol
