Integrated...makes you wonder what sort of consultation we have when the job is advertised before any feed back is collated ::)

They will employ under the Secretariat not the Board...so they can employ Attila the Hun if they want...as long as the "minister appointed" members give it the ok....which they will because they do as they like, regardless of what others think.

I'll apply.....I'm pretty technical now and feck knows, I know the discipline system....ohhh I can feel the rush of power now.....got a mad urge to wear a big black plastic hat and breath heavy.....Kern .....I am your father......

powerful the dark side is skywalker.....
You can't choose who you are.....but you are the sum of your choices.......

It would seem that it is a forgone conclusion to the audit consultation if a position
is being advertised....... so much for democracy eh.

C'mon guys it ain't over till its over.  Get your submissions in - while they might be hell bent on doing the audits and ignoring industry - it is certainly harder to explain if overwhelming numbers put submissions in AGAINST  it becoming a term and condition of licensing.  It's one nail in the coffin and a march towards another RRC complaint, or indeed not a good look for the OAG when they revisit at the end of the year.  The bastards just don't learn do they - they keep on holding up the red rag to us.  I too saw these adverts and thought they were a little pre-emptive and presumptive.

Don't get mad - get even - round up your colleagues and get those submissions in by tomorrow close of business.  Make sure you have your say, your missus has her say, your work mates, or staff have their say - bombard them with submissions - and just remember - if you don't and then next year you see a new fee on your licence costs called - audit fee $180 - $400 - don't blame anyone but yourself because you sat idly by and did nothing.

There is power in people - and it is a slow march, but we are making inroads and we are making a difference.
Have you learned lessons only of those who admired you, and were tender with you, and stood aside for you?  Have you not learned great lessons from those who braced themselves against you, and disputed the passage with you?  (Walt Whitman 1819-1891)  American Poet

Dead right Jaxcat.  If some thieving prick put their hand in your back pocket and grabbed your wallet removing all your money (if any) you would certainly have something to say about that on two levels.

Firstly you would no doubt restrain them because what they were doing wasn't right and was against the law.

Secondly your would no doubt deal a bit of personal justice before handing them over to the police just because they are imposing their will on your personal rights and your hard earned money. You know the odd weakener to the nose, a slight break to the wrist and a good kick to the nuts so the sorry sons of b****es don't reproduce.

Jaxcat is right but I say it ain't over until we say it's over.  It we say its over because it gets a bit hard then we deserve to be ripped off and that's exactly what the Board wants. They want us to get sick of it all and bow down and lick their shoes but I have a different theory - they can kiss my arse because I'll only do whats fair and reasonable now.

The Board can employ who they like but their jobs will only be a success if we participate in their dictatorship. Lots of dictators have fallen in the last year.  I heard a chairman went to a fancy dress party last week naked except for a potato over his old fellow. He was approached by the host who asked what he was and he replied "a dick tate a"

Have a good weekend everyone.

Totally guys.... this is the whole reason for them acting like its a fore gone conclusion....so you roll over and hand them the power to act..... LIKE ITS A FORE GONE CONCLUSION.....

I say no, f**** you...... you arrogant pricks

If they get an avalanche of what we really think it will put them in a tail spin...because their only, and I mean ONLY available tactic of stand-over and bullying will act against them...they will be left with nowhere to go.....and will have to come around to the thinking of the industry....That we are fed up of being treated with contempt and being shafted.

I WOULD LIVE A WEEK ON MY FEET STANDING UP FOR MYSELF, BEFORE A LIFE TIME ON MY KNEES IN SERVATUDE TO CORRUPT ARSEHOLES....its not too late guys get in your submissions.

ConcernedPGD

The Board has now received and considered the results from this year's stakeholder survey. I would like to thank everyone who participated. The comments received from those who took part in the survey showed that overall there was a high level of satisfaction with the Board's performance.

I for one would like to see a breakdown of who these stakeholders are,
and what their input was... I was once told to believe nothing that you hear and half of what you see, does not leave much does it.
Had a hard day at it in the trenches feeling crankier than usual.
