Hi
How strong do you need to be to be a Plumber?
Careers info details upper body strength, but I'm not sure how much you need.
And for the lifting requirements, what would be needed in a typical day or week.  (if there is one).
And is wrist strength important, or do you just build that up naturally.
Thanks

Well, physical fitness helps with anything in life, but I think its more size and flexibility to get under flooors and in and out of roof spaces. Although physical strength does help when lifting hot water cylinders its not essential.

i work with a couple of qualified plumbers who arent physically large by any standard, one of them is only around 60 kilos but he is one of the best craftsmen plumbers i know. i think the physical fitness required to do the job is not too hard to achieve if you are willing to stick with it no matter what body size
