Happy Birthday Fellow Practitioner!  Wal, you have done the most amazing job with the weekly newsletter - it is something that you personally should be very proud of.  It's pulled together a lot of our industry and given a voice to many plumbers, gasfitters and drainlayers out there.  I know it is read by those in this industry far and wide, and many a "suit" in Wellington to I believe.  It probably graces many smoko room walls as well.  Keep up the good work - Friday's wouldn't be the same without the Fellow Practitioner on email!!

Who would have believed how much ground could have been gained in a year.  Still lots of work to do and lots of members to recruit, but sometimes it doesn't hurt to stop and smell the roses.!
Have you learned lessons only of those who admired you, and were tender with you, and stood aside for you?  Have you not learned great lessons from those who braced themselves against you, and disputed the passage with you?  (Walt Whitman 1819-1891)  American Poet
