Do you always allow a pressure drop of 10% when pipe sizing no matter what the pipe material is or what is being conveyed? lpg or nat gas?...just looking at a certifying exam paper from june 2013

pretty sure thats what Nzs5601 says can be the maximum pressure drop
I believe in doing a job once and right. !

the only problem I have is that on the question doesn't give you a allowable pressure drop.....so how are you supposed to know what chart to look up if you were never given one???
